TOYS, BABY FURNITURE & EQUIPMENT and now LADIES CLOTHING
CONSIGNMENT GUIDELINES
Consigning your items is as easy as 1…2…3…The 3 C's Clean ~ Current ~ Cute
1. Contact The Growing Place & Polish to set up an appointment to drop off your items up to 2 totes of your BEST
current items (1-3 years old).
2. Upon receipt of your goods, we will, within 1-4 days, determine what we can accept and set up an account for you.
3. We will set up an account for you and put your items on the floor for 90 plus days. You will receive 50% of what we
sell your item(s) for as store credit or 40% of what we sell your items for in check form. The Growing Place will issue
consignment checks on the 15th of each month for Hammond Street accounts and the 20th for Broadway accounts. A
check will be written once your dollar amount has accumulated twenty dollars or more for the previous months sales.
•••These easy to follow instructions will help you get the most cash / credit for your items! •••
•All items MUST be in “like new” condition, cleaned and not recalled by the manufacturer.
•Clothing MUST be freshly laundered and free of any odors (including cigarette smoke) or pet hairs.
•Clothing MUST be free of any rips, tears, stains or worn areas.
•Clothing MUST have all buttons and zippers and be in working order.
•Please, NO drawstrings near the head / neck or other unsafe products.
•Customers will typically pay more for “like new,” newer, contemporary and NAME BRAND clothing.
Remember: “Just like new means more $ for you!”
•We take all children’s clothing sizes up to 16 Juniors, Ladies clothing and maternity wear.
•Items we cannot accept MUST be picked up within seven days of notification or they will be forfeited, becoming sole
property of The Growing Place, who will donate them to a local charity of its choice. Please keep in mind that we are
unable to look through items that are not properly prepared. We reserve the right to refuse any items because of style,
condition or supply and demand.

Hello, my name is Adrienne Chandler. I previously was an elementary teacher. After having our first child, and being a
consignment shoppers myself, I decided to buy The Growing Place. My goal is to service the needs of other moms in the
community by providing quality clothing at a fraction of department store prices. I am confident that once you visit the store
you will want to come back. Not only does the store provide quality clothing at reasonable prices, it also gives you an
